Republican Roads Are Dangerous

Out of 50 states, South Carolina ranks 49th (worst) in road safety.

From bumpy roads to narrow roads, from dangerous intersections to deep pits and potholes, the roads of South Carolina crumble and are unsafe at any speed. While the gas tax is a step in the right direction, the revenue received from Lancaster County is not returned dollar for dollar. Our local Republicans have failed us just as the state Republican leadership has failed us all. There is no reason for South Carolina to come in next to last of all states. Only a change of leadership can bring a change in our roads and improve highway safety as our children begin to drive.
